Monitor your onboard tank levels with confidence using the Simarine STR1. This compact, non-contact radar sender measures liquid levels in tanks from 150 to 2,000 mm high, providing a practical upgrade from traditional float and probe senders.
Suitable for fresh, grey and black water, diesel and petrol, the STR1 measures from the top of the tank without touching the liquid. With no moving parts or submerged probes, it avoids sticking floats and reduces the maintenance associated with fouling and corrosion.
Flexible connections for existing instruments
The STR1 provides three analogue outputs simultaneously: 0–180 Ω, 240–30 Ω and 0–5 V. A single sender can supply level information to up to three compatible gauges or monitoring inputs, making it easy to integrate with existing onboard instruments. Bluetooth connectivity also allows you to check tank levels through the Simarine Connect app, without requiring a dedicated Simarine display.
Simple installation in confined spaces
Peel-and-stick mounting allows the STR1 to fit directly onto suitable flat, rigid plastic or GRP tank tops, without drilling into the tank. Its compact housing measures just 32.5 mm high and 62 mm in diameter, making it ideal where overhead clearance is limited. Metal tanks require the optional Simarine S5 adapter, available separately.
For suitable installations, an existing sender can remain in place after being disconnected, reducing the work involved in replacing an older unit.
Calibration to suit your tank
Set up and calibrate the sender wirelessly using the Simarine Connect app. Support for up to 100 calibration points allows the displayed volume to reflect irregular tank shapes, giving you a more useful picture of your remaining supply or waste capacity. Built-in slosh filtering helps stabilise readings as liquid moves, while Bluetooth firmware updates simplify ongoing maintenance.

Delivery Responsibility
Every order is carefully inspected and securely packaged before leaving our warehouse.
For consumer purchases, responsibility for the goods remains with Boat Parts Superstore until your order has been delivered to the address provided, in accordance with applicable UK consumer legislation.
For business-to-business (B2B) transactions, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the goods have been collected by the carrier from our premises. We will gladly assist with any courier claims where possible, however claims relating to transit loss or damage remain subject to the courier's terms and conditions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is accurate and that appropriate arrangements are in place to receive the delivery.

Returns & Warranty
