The Planus Smart Electric Marine Toilet combines distinctive Italian styling, excellent comfort and powerful flushing performance in one beautifully finished ceramic unit.
Its contemporary full-height design conceals the operating components inside the toilet, producing a clean appearance while simplifying installation. The compact 480mm projection makes the Smart an excellent choice for yachts, motorboats and other marine bathrooms where space must be used efficiently without compromising comfort.
At the heart of the toilet is Planus’ proven Vortex discharge system. The high rotational speed of the pump, combined with the carefully designed discharge pipework, creates the powerful vacuum required to remove water and organic waste efficiently from the ceramic bowl.

Quiet Vortex Operation
The Planus Vortex system has been developed to deliver powerful waste removal without the intrusive noise associated with traditional vacuum-flush marine toilets.
The pump is integrated into the toilet and creates a strong vacuum within the discharge system. This provides dependable flushing performance while keeping operation quiet and unobtrusive—ideal for use aboard cruising yachts, motorboats and luxury vessels.
Flexible Installation
The performance of the Vortex pump gives installers considerable freedom when planning the discharge-hose route. Subject to correct installation, the system can discharge up to 9 metres vertically or 80 metres horizontally, allowing the toilet to connect to a holding tank located some distance away or to an appropriate overboard discharge system.
The Smart’s flat rear and full-height ceramic body allow it to sit neatly against a bulkhead, creating a clean, integrated appearance.
