The JL Audio MMR-40 is a full-function wired remote controller designed to provide complete control of a compatible JL Audio MediaMaster® source unit from an additional location aboard your boat.
Connected through a vessel’s NMEA 2000® network, the MMR-40 automatically recognises the connected MediaMaster source unit and mirrors its display information and operating controls. This makes it ideal for installations where audio control is required at the helm, flybridge, cockpit or another area away from the main source unit.
A bright 2.8-inch full-colour LCD screen clearly displays source, track, station, menu and system information. Large backlit buttons and a rotary volume control provide straightforward operation, even when the vessel is underway. Independent day and night display themes allow the lighting to be adjusted for the remote’s particular mounting location.
The rugged IP66-rated construction is engineered for marine use, providing protection against water, dust and exposure to demanding outdoor conditions.

Installation options:
The MMR-40 can be connected to an existing NMEA 2000 network using the appropriate NMEA 2000 cables and connectors. It can also be connected directly to a single compatible MediaMaster source unit using an optional JL Audio MMC-PN2K powered network cable, creating an isolated network connection.
Please note that the MMR-40 is not a standalone stereo or media receiver. It must be connected to a compatible JL Audio MediaMaster source unit to operate. Required NMEA 2000 network cables and connectors are sold separately.

Delivery Responsibility

Returns & Warranty
